Krista Critchfield, RRT

Hi! I’m Krista Critchfield RRT, I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist proudly serving in Dawes, West Virginia. I currently serve as the National Black Lung Association Secretary, and as the Kanawha County Black Lung Association Secretary.   I have over 20 years experience working with all ages ranging from infants to the elderly. I graduated from West Virginia Tech and began my career in Charleston, working at local area hospitals, this where I discovered my passion for Respiratory Therapy.

I’m passionate about helping patients breathe easier and feel supported during every step of their care. I believe that great healthcare starts with listening. My goal is to make patients and families feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. I bring a calm, attentive approach to every situation.   Staying calm under pressure and attentive to detail allows me to deliver safe, high quality respiratory support.

Outside of work, I’m a wife and mother who values family, health, and community. I bring those same values into my practice each day- treating every patient with the care and respect I would want for my own family.
