Kayla Roe, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Hello! My name is Kayla Roe, APRN, PMHNP-BC. I am a psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner at the Westside Health location of CCHS, where I work part-time in the Comprehensive Addiction Recovery Program (CARP) alongside Dr. Borror.
I was born and raised in Sissonville, West Virginia, and completed my undergraduate nursing education at BridgeValley Community and Technical College and West Virginia University. I earned my graduate degree from Marshall University and completed a post-master’s certification at Shenandoah University. I am board certified in psychiatric–mental health care and am deeply passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
I live in Charleston with my husband and our three children and have a strong appreciation for our community and city. My goal is to partner with patients to support mental wellness, build resilience, and foster meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Marshall University in Huntington, where I enjoy teaching and mentoring nursing students. I am also currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to further develop my leadership skills and expand my impact on patient care and community health.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
