Emily Stover, MSW, LICSW
Clinical Social Worker
My name is Emily Stover and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker currently working within Riverside Health Center’s community and school-based clinics as a Behavioral Health Provider supporting individuals across a range of needs.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of New England and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University. My clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, and I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment for each individual I work with.
Prior to joining Riverside, I worked in community mental health and in diverse clinical settings, including child advocacy services, family-based programs, and residential treatment for youth. These experiences have shaped my trauma-informed, strengths-
based approach to care.
I believe in meeting patients where they are and empowering them to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and improve overall well-being. I look forward to partnering with you in your journey and supporting you in taking the next steps toward lasting growth and wellness
