Olivia Mandich, Psy.D
Licensed Psychologist
My name is Dr. Olivia Mandich and I am a Licensed Psychologist (WV #1320) and work as part of your integrated healthcare team as a Behavioral Health Provider (BHP). I earned my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Ohio University and my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Marshall University. I completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with Wasatch Behavioral Health, a community mental health center in Payson, Utah.
As your Behavioral Health Provider, I take a holistic patient-centered approach to your care as humanistic principles are at the center of my clinical practice. It is my goal to provide an inclusive therapeutic environment where all patients feel heard, understood, validated, and affirmed.
I take a collaborative approach to goal setting and intervention that align with individual patient values, circumstances, and needs. I provide brief solution-focused individual psychotherapy, brief screening assessment and feedback, risk assessment and crisis intervention, and as appropriate, long-term individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
As a generalist, I am trained to treat various presenting problems including addressing comorbid physical health conditions through consultation with your primary care physician and the utilization of behavioral strategies to assist you with health behavior changes and adjustment.
In practice, I take a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to care and use various evidence-based interventions such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Positive Psychology.
I look forward to collaborating with you on your care and working together to promote well-being.
