Jessyca Rich, LPC

My name is Jessyca Rich and I am a School-Based Behavioral Health Provider at Herbert Hoover High School offering mental health services for a wide range of diagnoses including but not limited to anxiety, depression, sleep issues, behavioral issues, ADHD, and trauma. I am a Master’s level Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) currently working on my School-Based Registered Play Therapy certification (SB-RPT) as well as my Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS) certification so that I can assist other counselor’s starting their professional careers.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from West Virginia State University and was a member of the volleyball team. I graduated with honors then continued to Marshall University for my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. During my Master’s program I interned with Thomas Memorial Hospital in the outpatient substance abuse program offering individual and group therapy services.

After graduation I started working at KVC Behavioral Health as a Therapist. I worked with children in the foster care system and Safe at Home offering individual and family therapy services. During my time at KVC I completed Diagnostic Evaluations and therapy services with a focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Systems Therapy (TST), and some Brief Solution Focused Therapy. After a few years I was promoted to a Supervisor, overseeing the Foster Care Case Managers, where I remained until I started at CCHS in 2023.

As a Behavioral Health Provider it is important to me to make meaningful connections with my patients and help them feel heard, validated, and important. I strive to provide impactful care and meet patients where they are at. If you are considering behavioral health services, I would love the opportunity to assist you in taking the next steps to manage/ decrease your symptoms!
